Older Afghan coins are tough to find in any condition. 

The vast sum of Afghan coins, especially silver and gold, over the years have been melted for scrap, used as jewelry for traditional dresses and necklaces, heavily circulated, or have been harshly cleaned. 

Afghanistan only started producing standard milled national coinage in 1891 as part of Emir Abdur Rahman Khan’s broad range of initiatives to modernize the Afghan state and to unify the country. Coins issued before 1891 were hammer-struck at various local mints which circulated as local currencies. The process of producing milled coinage however wasn’t perfected until the late 1920s. Off-strucks, die cracks, weak strikes, correction marks, and other imperfections are the norm rather than the exception among Afghan coins minted in 1929 or earlier.

At this time, I’m unable to ship to destinations not covered by either E-DELCON or GSP due to the additional risk of shipping to those destinations. I simply can’t afford the risk of shipping an order to a destination where your package isn’t fully trackable (E-DELCON) nor provides me with full liability protection (GSP) in the event a package gets lost or opened.

Refunds/Returns: I accept free returns within 30 days from the date of purchase.  Please contact us promptly when you wish to return an item.  Items must be returned in their original holder.  Any items that are damaged or items that have been removed (or tampered with) from the original packaging will not be accepted for return. Bullion products are non-refundable due to market fluctuations. 

Liability Policy: 

WRONG OR INCORRECT ADDRESS -- If an order is placed with an incorrect address (and the package is returned to us), you will be responsible for paying to re-ship the item to the correct address.

PACKAGE NOT DELIVERED -- If the package tracking system states the item was "delivered" but the customer did not receive it, the customer should contact their local post office to determine where the package was left. Once a package is confirmed delivered, the carrier used becomes the responsible party. 

STOLEN OR LOST PACKAGES -- We are not responsible for packages that are stolen or lost if a carrier leaves a package unattended at your door/mailbox and the customer is not home to take the delivery. If the item is stolen or lost it is not our responsibility to recover or replace the item. It is the buyers' responsibility to track the order using the tracking number provided to anticipate expected delivery.
