Consignment

Chicken Street Trading Co. accepts select items on consignment from collectors, estates, and dealers. If you have coins, banknotes, or other collectibles you would like to sell but prefer not to part with them outright, consignment may be the right arrangement for you.

How It Works

Under a consignment arrangement, your items remain your property until they sell. We list them in our store, handle all photography, research, description writing, and customer inquiries, and remit payment to you once a sale is completed — minus an agreed-upon commission.

This is particularly well-suited for larger collections, higher-value individual pieces, or situations where you want professional representation without the pressure of an immediate sale.

What We Accept on Consignment

Afghan coins and banknotes from all periods and dynasties
Historical coins from across the Islamic world and Central Asia
Ancient and medieval coins of historical significance
World coins with numismatic or historical significance
Graded coins (PCGS, NGC, or equivalent)
Stamps, documents, and paper collectibles from Afghanistan and the Islamic world
Full collections and estates

Commission and Terms

Commission rates vary depending on the value and type of items. We are happy to discuss terms before any agreement is made. There is no obligation and no upfront cost to you.
